Excerpt from my submission to the Adobe Make The Cut contest. 

Objective: To recreate the Imagine Dragons music video for their song, "Believer" using Adobe video editing software. 

Although we had to showcase our overall video-creation skills after given the material to put together (clips, sound bytes, etc.), I decided to take another route and used only Adobe Premiere in order to cut and edit the video in a way that tightly molded the tempo of the background music. 

Although this was an extremely difficult task with the great amount of beats in the song and the fast tempo, I was able to create a cohesive and unique cut for the project.

The contest was very interesting because it challenged the contestants to try to re-vamp the old music video and make it something better and original to their style.

One thing that I found was unique about my project as compared to the other submissions that I saw was that I focused on editing the footage so that it seemed like a series of progressing shots that tell a story, without any dialogue.
